GAWL International CLE

Join GAWL from April 20 – May 3, 2018 for our first International CLE to Greece! This comparative legal journey will provide 6 CLE hours, including 1 professionalism hour. While the trip is for GAWL members, a member can bring one non-member guest over the age of 21. TRAVEL COSTS:

GAWL Members Land $2450.00 Without flight to Greece and with a shared room
Non-Members Land $2550.00 Without flight to Greece and with a shared room
GAWL Members and Non-Members Air $1110.00 If you would like the travel agency to arrange your flight to and from Greece, you will need to add this to your cost
GAWL Members and Non-Members Single Supplement $1023.00 If you would like your own room, you will need to add this to your cost

A non-refundable deposit is due to secure your spot: $450 for members and $550 for non-members if you are going to purchase airfare separately, or $550 for members and $650 for non-members if you want the travel agent to purchase your airfare. You will then need to pay $2000 per person, plus any remaining Air ($1010.00 per person) and Single Supplement ($1023.00) fees directly to the travel company by March 30, 2018 (instructions forthcoming). PACKAGE FEATURES:

Our visit will begin with a four day classical guided tour from Athens to Mycenae, Olympia, Delphi, Kalambaka, and Meteora (inclusive of breakfast and dinner), followed by two additional nights in Athens (inclusive of breakfast) with a city tour. Then we will head to the beautiful beaches of Mykonos for three nights (inclusive of breakfast), and we will round out our journey in Santorini for two nights (inclusive of breakfast) prior to heading back to Athens for our return flight to the U.S. Here are some of the key features included in the trip:

  5. Athens City Tour* that includes the Acropolis and Museum
  6. 3-Night accommodations at the San Marco Hotel in Mykonos with breakfast
  7. FERRY: Mykonos to Santorini
  8. 2-Night accommodations at the Kallisti Hotel in Santorini with breakfast
  9. AIR: Santorini to Athens with Aegean airlines or similar

Package also includes: hotel taxes and service charges, all transfers, all entrance fees for your itinerary, porterage of 1 suitcase per person at the hotels, keepsake DVD of your group’s digital photos, 24/7 hour emergency hotline, and $1 million traveler assistance program at no additional cost.

After breakfast, enjoy a Classic Tour of Greece. Visit the archaeological sites of Mycenae and Epidaurus. Continue to Olympia for dinner, and spend the night at Olympia Amalia Hotel.

Delphi

Have breakfast at the hotel. During the morning, visit the ancient site of Olympia (site of the ancient Olympic Games). Then drive via Patras and Rion to Delphi for dinner and spend the night at the Amalia Hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will head to the airport for a short flight to Athens (approx. 35 minutes) where you can then connect to a flight to USA.

 

*After our included daily breakfast at the hotel, we will be met by our English-speaking guide for our half-day Athens City Tour. We will visit such sites as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Royal Palace, the Pan-Athenian Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and the world famous Acropolis and its  museum, as well as Monastiraki (the Old Flea Market) and the modern market. We will then drive along Patission, Alexandras, Vas Sofias, and Panepistimiou avenues, viewing the Academy, the University, and the National Library before returning to our hotel.
